Myself .. voted , So I cannot influence a vote, I never would - I have my own morals and! .... what the hell have everything anyway , up and down and different visuals on screen, very sure still part off the little bits IT have to sort , this is only a mirror issue to return to.

No, it doesn't. There was a time when comp entrants seemed to be ringing up their friends, to say 'join NZFF and vote for me'
It is better that the entries are chosen on merit, without knowing how many others may or may not have voted for them.
We have just under 740 members. Of those, less than 30 enter the comp, and less than 40 actually vote.
That is why some people think it is a 'closed shop'; they are wrong - if they took the trouble to enter it themselves, they would soon find out.

Just to add point to this, there has been 202 views of this thread but I'll guarantee voting hasn't reached triple digits...
