:D No airbrakes, No flap, No glide slope attitude ... I guess you can only wish for an arrestor ... Whoops No Hook ... maybe a Chute :unsure: ... :D

Just go around and put the aircraft in the proper landing configuration that is of cause if you have enough fuel left with one of those to do a go around :unsure:

That was the third attempt big D .... just fumes left , 5 seconds after i took that shot .... it was over :ph43r:

While we are on the subject of Lightnings.... I met somebody in the weekend who is building a 1/4 scale twin turbo jet RC model FMk6 based on a similar model that has flown in England...now that will be impressive to see...

The jet engines alone would be worth into the 10,000 price range unless there has been a Lightning Sale, would great to see the gradual build and headaches involved :)

Yeah not sure on cost - wont be cheap..he already has a Grumman Panther RC model of about the same scale (and a stunning Beech 18, Lysander and Sopwith Pup)

Crikey it would be great to see the 'Lightning' in amongst that lot , .... a well groomed (I really like that) Marty would not have a problem landing his T4/5 .

That Beech is impressive , .... the Panther , whats needed now is a slow moving aircraft carrier to suit to drive through the long grass, don't want to damage a Panther :unsure: , arrestor wires and all the whooflar B-)

Actually that Beech 18 isn't his I noticed but its very similar ...the Panther is though
