Latest WIP

Postby Kiwia1spad » Sun May 10, 2015 3:14 pm

I found in among the Alphasim/Virtavia freeware site their T-28 series for FSX, and on looking around the web, there are no re-paints for ZK-JGS for it, so back to the Alpha freeware archive and the paintkit section. Here are a few screens of my ZK-JGS paint for the Alphasim T-28. The repaint is coming along nicely, just need to find a couple of decent pics of the little trojan image on the cowl and what the Danger message under the tail is then i will be ready to release.

Ian, ive searched through the show pics here, and other sites online (except gavins) and nothing up close or square enough on to get a good shape.

It dose make it a little more difficult searching for historical photo's since the forum change but rather that , go to your search engine outside NZFF and look for T-28 or Trojan , the USN markings are all the same so you should get some good results ... Even if the marking required is on a different aircraft.

Well, it took some digging, but i found what i was looking for, a good image of the trojan logo that resides on the cowls, and the Danger message under the tail, now i have those, the paint is complete.

Cheers Ian, good news is we may see more of this bird at airshows as she was recently sold to Brett Emeny and is now based in Tauranga.
Also, this paint is now available at flightsim.com
