Touring at extremely low altitude...

Postby Fozzer » Wed May 20, 2015 7:46 pm

...31 inches AGL, to be precise!... ;) ....!

Hello Chums!.... :D ....!

My journey from Cinderford in Gloucestershire back home to Hereford in Herefordshire, on Sunday afternoon, following a family celebration last Saturday night.
My new Go-Pro look-alike sport camera (SJCam, SJ4000) fitted to the left hand indicator on my Yamaha motorbike!
Sorry about the vibration, but that's what you get from a buzzing 2-stroke Bike!....Yamaha RXS 100..... ....!

So sit comfortably in your favourite chair, put your feet up, open a bottle of what you fancy, and click here...>>>

....for a 1/2 hour tour through the English Countryside!...... :D ....!

Its loads of fun!

More to come if you like them.... :wink2: ....!

Paul....wind in the hair...flies in the teeth.... B-) ...!

The Files are quite large, only being allowed to store a max of 2GB on "Dropbox", so I often have to delete them to make room for more videos, so any videos that you like will have to be saved on your HDD!
(You-Tube only allows very short videos to be stored on site, for direct access).

Many thanks, Ian.... ...!

You are right about the hedges restricting the views, something which doesn't happen with the You-Tube, Harley-Davidson videos of tours around California, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, etc....Big skies and wide-open scenery!

Without the hedgerows, New Zealand scenery looks very similar to ours, as shown by Henry Cole, on the Travel Channel; "Worlds Greatest Motorcycle Rides" in the series showing; "New Zealand".

NZ and England are very similar with their scenery...apparently....We've just got lots and lots of hedgerows to keep the farm animals off the road! :wink2: ...!

The Hedgerows certainly restrict the views of the nice countryside on either side...and cushion the effect when you plough into them...providing there isn't a tree in the way!

We don't get rocky Mountains, like they do in Monument Valley and the Zion National Park!
...we just get bumps in the scenery!.... ...!

More to come later...

Paul..... :D ...!

Shopping for Dins in a minute on my trusty steed!... B-) ...!

P.S...Many of my American Flight Sim Chums are eager to see my Bike videos of the typical English Countryside, which is very different from theirs!

Excellent idea, Ian..... ...!

Any tours of New Zealand will be very welcome, Christchurch town, and the surrounding countryside...anywhere!

Its lovely to see what other folks are looking at every day!

This is my little baby camera; £45 new, for my (genuine) SJCam sj4000...instead of £300 - £400 for a Go Pro!
Does exactly the same job for a fraction of the price!...>>>

..with zillions of mounting accessories...(as the Actress said to the Bishop!).... ;) ...!

Clip it on your handlebars...press record....and off you go!

Wonderful stuff!

Paul....smile please!.... :P ...!
