my 2 cents worth, I used to be a car salesman in my former occupational life and worked for toyota, holden and Honda I still buy and sell the odd car here and there and are currently looking to get registered. Im glad that your looking at japanese (says me who currently has three euros) as the cost of owning and maintaining is a whole lot cheaper than euros. The accord/inspire is a good choice definitely shop around as mid teens is pricey for any car. especially back half of the 2000s

I would suggest something in diesel (Gas costs a lot these days), something tough and durable, that can take anything you can throw at it and will last years to come...
