Come on guys and gals where the hell are you all hiding.
Here we are day 4 of the voting 24 entries and only 28 votes.
Its times like this that I wonder if it is worth carrying on with the monthly competition when it comes to voting everyone seems to be
:sleepy: :arrr:

Voting closes midnight tonight you last chance to boost the appalling vote total of just 31 so far.

It needs some more votes to sort out a winner as at the moment there are 4 tied for first place.

Put them all in a room. 4 men enter, one man leaves. It will be sorted...

If there are three or more tied for first place I will run another voting poll for two days to sort it out.

24 entries, 315 views, 32 votes.
Comp open for 4 weeks, say 30 days. I know I look each time there is an unread post in the thread, and of course I look to see how my own entry compares, and when I vote that is also a look; so I could easily account for 60-90 of those 315 views.
Take a median of 75 views per entrant, and you get 1800 views !...even if we only look once a day that is 720 views, without making allowance for the 8 non-entrants who voted.

There is something wrong with the arithmetic here - are the total views for the entry period being carried over to the voting period? Shouldn't the views figure be reset to zero once the voting opens?
Ideally, Dan could set up a system where (a) once the voting opens, you can only view the entries if you are logged in, and (b) you can't get out of the thread until you have voted. Maybe rule (b) would do the job on its own...
