Sky cargo

Inspired by the boys photos of this rare chc visitor , i found a paint of the very aircraft .
I tried to do a Charl "real vs sim" thing ... but it didn't work out .... the fsx scenery for chc (on my system) is all wrong .... but i made these anyway.

On arrival , from the sunny side .....

And , what he may have looked like departing in that low sun ..... hard nor west light .

I just make sure the Antarctic Centre is somewhere in the pic, then no-one notices any shortcomings elsewhere!

Nice shots, Marty, it struck me years ago that MS really worked hard on the light in its sims.
The cold low light really is quite different from the summery look.

Be interesting from perhaps another viewpoint to see a "real vs sim" one.
Perhaps we just compensate in our minds for that light shift in the sim...

I was struck the other day flying up the west coast as a passenger, how blue the overlaid haze was.
