Michael O'Leary, the boss of Ryan Air, went into a Dublin pub...
"Good morning Mr O'Leary what will ye have?"
"I'll take a pint of Guinness' "
"That'll be 2 Euros, sir"
"That's a good price"
"We like to think so..."
"Now then, would you like a glass, with your pint? "

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

I'll tell you what really winds me up....

When Metric first started, the new "Penny" was referred to as the; "P", or "New P"; to differentiate it from the old "Penny".

That was long, long ago...

...and some folks still annoyingly call it; "P" (Pee), instead of a; "Penny".....eg: 20 "Pee"...instead of 20 Pence!... ....!

The word "Penny/Pence" is a nice word...I like it!

"P" describes; Urinating!... ...!

Paul.... :D ...!

Distances in "Kilometres" instead on "Miles" always leaves me cold!.... :( ...!
Luckily, all our road distance signs are still indicated in; "Miles"...Nice!... :P ...!
...and our Sun is 93 Million "Miles" away from my back garden...(on a sunny day)... ...!

Funny you should mention this. This picture was in a recent publication up here about what our main road would look like after the upgrade it's currently undergoing. Let's see if you can spot what's wrong with it....

Some more New Horizons Interplanetary Stuff, including information on the progress of the Pioneer and Voyager Space Probes...>>>

http://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation- ... 79819.html

It baffles me where they get the electricity from to continue to send data back to Earth!
...too far from the Sun, for Solar Panels!

...and I still cant figure out where they presently get their; "propulsion" from, for forward progress and guidance!

These sort of questions keep me awake at nights!.....(probably).... :wink2: ...!
