Did you know that your brain only accounts for 2% of your body weight , but consumes about 20% of what you eat or drink .... I hope i got that right

I've always been curious as to why I fall asleep on my couch for hours after eating one of my delicious meals....
An Internet search tells me its 'cos the blood in our brains gets transferred into our stomachs, to help in aiding the digestion of the meal in our stomachs, and this makes us/me sleepy.
A big Beef Casserole dinner can easily result in me remaining horizontal and unconscious for 2-3 hours on my couch....
...and wake up just in time for Tea!...

Eating and sleeping....what a life!.....

Gas Cooker fired up....Dins on the go....Couch cushions plumped up, ready....
