The JustFlight DC-6 coming over Arthur's Pass on its way to Christchurch, 1953. If you like the DC-3, you'll love the DC-6!

This is based on a TRUE story - made into a wonderful film:

Bride Flight (the film)
The London - Christchurch 1953 Air Race

My "theme" is ... FILMS! >buck<

Adam.

Thanks! I was wondering whether the winner of a current comp should get to set the following month's theme <?>.

I think the idea is Great ! obviously , not this month but this maybe a great idea , 'extra encouragement to post for the competition' , let peoples minds wander ! it is a dang good idea Adam , the regular internationals would love it !

In the Forum Community Discussion section there is a sticky thread which was created to keep these arguments out of the Screenshot Comp thread.

Hi, yes I've used the their helipad quite a bit. :) I was trying to go for an angle on a screenshot featuring it, but I preferred this image.

Last minute change!
This one is "themed" "The End of Another Long Hot Summer's Day" - in anticipation of another long hot summer soon! (Thanks el nino).

Nemeth Designs AS350 in The Helicopter Line livery, just shut down at Mt Cook airport after the last glacier run for the day, nestled amongst Robin's spectacular Godzone subscription scenery.

One great thing about the sim is that eventually I can see a working aircraft like this in it's native habitat -- the Taumarunui Aerial Co-op Cresco around and about Taumarunui.
