Oh I do like that SAL 777 tapdance!

The B777 does have a huge engine does it not?
The other day taxiing in to NZAA I looked out and thought: My word but I didn't remember it THAT large.
Nope, a 787 (from I think, LAN.)
That engine is HUGE in comparison to the fuselage.

It did change so dramatically , ... THEY REALLY CUT THE BALLS off any viewing at CHC , about the only we have now is Operation Deep Freeze and that is only seasonal bit like that boring job as a school , berry picking ... but then that was close to the airport !

If you grew up around Christchurch International the way I did , the freedom you had Extremely Impressive, observation decks were you had access from the outside, it was the best airport in the South Pacific region .... access denied , the new terminal I consider it a cattle shed ... hardly any glazing or panel feature ... I wonder what 'cock' really designed it - that was a tourist attraction in its own right , I keep pointing that out, .... the place I have been in there .. control tower, tunnels underneath big enough to drive a tarp hauler ... It was a place you could spend a day.

I like how the USAF puts a designation for a 328 , I check out one at Wagga Wagga , the aircraft was on its debut world tour 20 years back, it was in Doriner company colours , there was talk off it going to pure jet , don't think that took off so well.
