Impluse Airlines brought the first two into Australia , only two weeks old when in 2001 , Impluse Airlines went belly up short time later and i'm sure how many hours they did but when sold QANTAS snapped then up immediately ... its funny the linage of the aircraft , after all they are really just the Douglas DC-9/MD series.

Love the DC9/MD8x's/B717 ...
Hell.. why not buy a fleet of desert-parked MD81-88s, drop the JT8s, slap a pair of CFM56's on the end and upgrade the cockpit, how hard could it be :wink2:

That is almost about it , I could do a with a Job in those nice hot temps .. know a little about engineering and metallurgy ... course after work a little walk in the twlight and check others otta there in the paddock.
