Well I could do that but I paid money for it and would like it to work. Others seem to be fine and downloading something else is not going to fix the problem. I did comment on here about should I buy Orbx North and South and no one had anything bad to say. I have used Orbx North and South on a friends pc and never recall anything like this. Surely there is something in settings or a fix file ...

I don't have P3D but it comes down to shutting down the the specific files in the scenery folder, that's all I can regard to the P3D setup.

I it should be similar to FSX folders, and I'm guessing ORBX creates its own folder.

You want to be looking ADE_FTX files , put a search in those and from there , the would be in the FXT_NZSI_05_SCENERY files

You may find it creates an ORBX folder outside the scenery folder and for example go into folder FXT_NZSI_05_SCENERY and you should see the airport code to adjust.

First thing I would do since your new at this is copy that entire folder to your desktop or a safe place, saves that hassle in case you muck things up you can simply replace with this original.

The thing is the airport code or airport you want to modify - idea its to save a flight there and see what the changes are. , for example in the South Island 'NZAS' - Ashburton , you have three files,

ADE_FTX_NZAS.BGL
ADE_FTX_NZAS_CVX.bgl
ADE_FTX_NZAS_objects.bgl

for a start simply rename one file for starters Example : ADE_FTX_NZAS_objects.bgl_BAK ,

Reset and you will notice the change , you will the buildings and car would have disappeared - to put them back simply reedit that line removing _BAK.

Its that simple, you can now play with what your issue , Elevation ?

Glen, I wouldn't go changing any files in your Orbx installation, it sounds like either a scenery priority issue, or the terrain.cfg file. I you send me a copy of your scenery.cfg file, I can check that for you. Otherwise it might need a reinstall of Prepar3D.

To find your scenery.cfg file, go to Windows Explorer, and copy/paste this into the address bar:

%programdata%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v2

Find scenery.cfg, and email it to me. You should have my windowlight email address.
