October 15th 1957 , US Navy charter flight useing PAA (Boeing 377"clipper america") turning south ex CHC for the antarctic.
Various big wigs on board , but one of the 2 stewardess was a kiwi. >nzflag<

NZCH - first International flight of a 'Silver City Airways' Lancastrian on the 26th Feb 1947...
FSX, Jahn FS2004 Lancastrian, Godzone, VLC, NZFF.

My network finally back online after an ongoing saga which started with a banjaxed 4G modem and went steadily downhill from there :arrr:

I look upstairs .. both these have a Christchurch International connection , Mike spotted the history and course the Boeing , PanAm flew to the Ice via Christchurch in the 1950s ...
