Postby dbcunnz » Wed Sep 30, 2015 11:01 pm

Welcome to the NZFF October 2015 Screenshot Competition.

This month's rules are as follows (Please read them).
If you have any queries about the rules please PM me for clarification before posting your entry.

Can I ask participants to please take note of rule 3: The images must be jpg so please don’t post png.

1) The screenshot image must consist of a screen captured from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-plane or P3D) and the position of the shot must be from somewhere within the New Zealand territory.

2) Some editing is allowed (if you know how to do it.) Additional images - either screenshots or "real" images can be added - but the main component of the image should always be of a Flight sim screen capture.

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels
3a) No frames or txt to be left on the image
Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

4) Images can be submitted from October 1st until midnight 31st October 2015, with only one entry of a single image per member.
You can change your image anytime up until 1 hour before the closing time.
To change use the edit button at the bottom of your post, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one If you post comments using the quote or reply button please edit out all images from your reply or quote.

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open for members to decide who has the best image, and then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month.

6) This month's theme: “What The Hell Was That” (Please state Aircraft details and over which New Zealand Island the image was taken)

I ask all members to please patronize all our very generous prize sponsors.
We have two excellent prizes for this month’s competition very generously donated by Image

The voting will take place after the competition closes at the end of the month and the two with the highest vote get a prize.

For this months competition there are two prizes, the winners can pick a product of their choice from the
Image Download site.

Thank you this month’s prize sponsor Image

What the hell was that! ...said the residents of New Plymouth one night when a F-14 Tomcat (Dino's) screamed overhead

Great minds, Marty, great minds
I haven't quite got the effect I want, but I thought I'd better put something up before someone else did.

No need for that Marty, but it's up to you...we both had the same idea, but done in a different style. Your pic is better rendered than mine, and mine has the animated pilots looking "WTH" at each other .
I say, let the punters decide

It's all part of the fun, mate - all I want to do is move the Truk down and to the right, so Doug can make a nice banner of it
See you on the podium :P

By the time anyone asked the competition question, this SR-71 would have left Wellington and started its turn over Napier!
