A bad day for spotting

Postby Splitpin » Mon Nov 02, 2015 7:12 pm

Had a day off today , but had to take one of the girls to the airport at 11 , so i decided to hang around with my camera .
What a waste of time .... no action at all on the deep freeze apron ,but got one shot of SQ on departure ... all the rest was A320 after A320 , with the odd ATR or Dash.
Then i caught the last half of a call from "herc 02" being cleared to land ...... i was out near 02 and watching .... nothing! Then i hear him (the Herc) getting a take off clearance .... WTH!
The sneaky fella arrived on 11 (behind me ) and left again on 02 , and i couldn't get back to the "good spot for 02 take offs " in time

Such is life in the fickle world of a plane spotter
