Great post Doc ... love the photo as well.
That A-380 is growing on me .... its ugly , but impressive .

Nice shots, :thumbup: , but I am with Marty on this aircraft:
Dimensionally - impressive
Technologically - impressive
To fly in - impressive
To see flying - impressive
Aesthetically - meh...

And I dont know why, can't put my finger on it :wacko:

If they would just add another 5m or so ahead of the wing, it would look a lot better...

I flew on one for the first time the other day. Relatively comfortable but very quiet The cameras that you can view on the entertainment screens are quite a nice addition. Still a hideously ugly aircraft and I'm still not a fan of Airbust but it was kind of nice to fly on.

Great pics Doc, and classic shot of you at the bottom there, nice one :)

Never flown on one but years ago I was flying through Singapore and they had their entire fleet of 380's at the time grounded due to one of the volcanos going off in Iceland, was a pretty impressive sight seeing one after another all along one entire concourse, so much hardware in one place
