I'm in conversation with many people into painting and art , never thought checking the words out .. my style is what I would call "Realistic Art" , now told there is no such thing .. look at a drawing or painting that equals to a photo , that is what I consider as "Realistic" ... anyone heard off "plein aire" artwork ? .. I finally had a look this morning ... Its just some 'poncy nerdy' name for standing outside with the/a paint brush ... and if it rains on the painting it is called ABSTRACT  .. boy if its not getting stupid old biddies in an art gallery just down the road here saying " Oooo you can certainly draw - but its not mainstream " ......... in other words ........ Slip slap slop , a lake , a mountain in the background and a few trees , .. It is very funny to YUPPYIZE words to confuse the entire world ..... "plein aire" :P ..... and you people go on about my Ianglish ! .... Ooo by the way another artist uses the .. his words the " WHAUW FACTOR" cos did not no how to say it so invented it , .. sound like a new TV series coming out ..

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
