A Winter's Tale ...

Image

Over the Coromandel in an unusually cold winter. Believe it or not - that's Hot Water Beach down there!!!

I chose the Mustang (A2A Civ) purely for the colour scheme!

You want clouds? I'll give you some damn clouds!

I keep getting amazed of REX Essentials +OD for P3Dv3! It. is. staggering! Nobody believed me when I told them this isn't photoshopped (apart from cropping, resizing and a tiny bit of brightness & contrast fiddling) Pair it with a great looking Aeroplane Heaven Lockheed L-10 Electra in the 'Casablanca' livery and this is the result.

Image

I actually used a new technique for this image. In my default resolution (1920x1080) the aircraft textures were not sharp and created edges everywhere. This is a common problem for me in P3D sadly. So via the Nvidia config panel I changed the output resolution to 4k, instead of 1080p. This way I could upscale P3D to 4k and take the screenshot. It's so much sharper than 1080p in full size, and even in resized form I got rid of the unwanted lines that were everywhere!

Picture is taken near Blenheim

Thanks Ian, Yeah perhaps there should be an "international rescue" ship instead of the 747! F.A.B.
