Big Bird Visitor

This was very unusual arrival never seen that before, bigger than a chicken, could fly. one legged and friendly as hell .. I squeaked at him and he come across, photo's shakey but before I come get him something to eat he was gone.

You do attract some odd birds Ian ...but , where the hell would that have come from ?

Yeah , they are different, he was as friendly I recon it was someones pet bird.

Thanks Charl, I seriously did not know what species it was, I do wonder if it was a pet that got out, has to be very unique to find them in the city?

Bad luck for anyone expecting two tasty chicken legs with fries.

Pheasants: Lots of them on our British Roads. Often get run over!
Bred, and used for target practice, for country folks with big, double-barrelled cartridge shot guns!
