There might be a Viggen at some stage from Leatherneck but at the moment they are quite buisy doing the F-14 plus a Carrier. A4 Skyhawk was mentioned by VEAO as a possible addon but they had to drop it as there were legal issues regarding the A4.

Crikey they do get carried away with the 'legal smeagles' over the Skyhawks ... we should have kept em .. gone to the world as a private training company like DRAKEN and gone :nahnah: to the UN's Gangster Helen 'Clucky' Clark , the country would have had Dairy exports , Beef exports and Fighter Pilot training exports !

VEAO a few years ago were in the process of getting permission to make addons of aircraft from the aircraft manufacturers and it involves lawyers from this the developers would have access to data that can make the addon as realistic as possible which is needed for DCS level aircraft etc. For the A-4 there was a problem because they are still in service in some countries and it became to difficult for VEAO to get permission to make the addon so they dropped other devs have dropped some addons because of this eg BI with Arma 3 everything is futuristic.

DCS: L-39 week!

Today marks the start of an Albatros weekend with several deals that will start on 27 May 2016 at 1500 GMT and last until 30 May 2016 at 0900 GMT. We are very proud of DCS: L-39 Albatros given its exceptional modeling of flight dynamic, cockpit systems, sound, and both internal and external art. On top of that, the Albatros is the first DCS module to feature cooperative multiplayer that allows two on-line players to occupy the same aircraft.

In addition to the L-39C trainer variant, the module also includes the L-39ZA light attack version that includes an integrated cannon and additional weapon storage points.

There have been two reasons given for why VEAO wouldn't do the Skyhawk and they contradict each other. Like I said- take their statements with a grain of salt.

I don't worry about these things, life is too short to get wound up over flight sims! :D

Was really just making the point. I'm looking forward to the F5 and the F18 later this year. Man the pedals on the Gazelle do me in!
