Thanks, all, for the votes! I really didn't think people would go for it! Some nice and inventive shots were put up.

Thanks, Doug, for placing the poor man's head smack in the middle of "New Zealand" ... looks awesome!!!! Thanks also to Ian for the YouTube link (which I didn't dare post before). I don't think I'll ever get tired of viewing that one! The tragedy is that only one of the participants lives on. Ray Hanna, R.I.P.

Ray Hanna , met both of them Ray and son Mark when setting up the Space Shuttle at the Wanaka airshow 1994 , he was a real master of low level flying , another good example is in that brilliant movie "Empire of the Sun" flying the Cadillac of the sky the P-51 Mustang :)

Oops ... yes - I meant Mark [Hanna]. I've not met either of them in person, but used to see them both performing in many displays in the UK over the years.

Both sadly are gone :( , Mark in a HS-109 crash in Spain and Ray in 2015 with heart attack... both great pilots .... funny Ray just grumble (obviously had something on his mind) but Mark was sorta intrigued why one would build a cardboard Space Shuttle ... only a plane nutter I guess.
