Postby dbcunnz » Wed Jun 01, 2016 12:00 am

Welcome to the NZFF June 2016 Screenshot Competition.

This month's rules are as follows (Please read them).
If you have any queries about the rules please PM me for clarification before posting your entry.

Can I ask participants to please take note of rule 3: The images must be jpg so please don’t post png.

1) The screenshot image must consist of a screen captured from a Flight Simulator program (FS2004, FSX, X-plane or P3D) and the position of the shot must be from somewhere within the New Zealand territory.

2) Some editing is allowed (if you know how to do it.) Additional images - either screenshots or "real" images can be added - but the main component of the image should always be of a Flight sim screen capture.

3) The images must be jpg and size must be at least 1024 pixels wide and no wider than 1280 pixels
3a) No frames or txt to be left on the image
Please keep a high resolution version saved on your computer; the admin may request it from you at the end of the month to convert into a site banner!

4) Images can be submitted from June 1st until midnight 30th June 2016, with only one entry of a single image per member.
You can change your image anytime up until 1 hour before the closing time.
To change use the edit button at the bottom of your post, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one If you post comments using the quote or reply button please edit out all images from your reply or quote.

5) Soon after the competition ends, a poll will open for members to decide who has the best image, and then the winner will have a cropped version of their image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the prize for the month.

6) This month's theme: “FORMATION” (Please state Aircraft details and over which part New Zealand the image was taken)

I ask all members to please patronize all our very generous prize sponsors.
We have an excellent prize for this month’s competition very generously donated by A2A Simulations

The voting will take place after the competition closes at the end of the month and the winner with the highest vote will get the prize and have their image placed in the NZFF Banner for the month.

For this months competition the prize winner can pick a download product of their choice from A2A Simulations Image

Thank you this month’s prize sponsor A2A Simulations.

Wow!! A2A!!! That's quite a coup: can't get better than that!!!

I put up a post for people to add their formation tools/utilities reviews so contestants can see what's currently out there for there own sim:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=26140

Setting up formations can be a tricky/time-consuming business - and some of the old FSX tools may not work in P3D, so I thought it'd be useful to start a thread outside this main comp one.

Before Ian jumps in with his "multiplayer macro" :P - of course, you can get away with just inviting some similarly afflicted buddies online, have a few virtual beers, and go fly!

Adam.

Three Jahn team Connies saluting Christchurch.
Phoenix and Pegasus in company with my Connie 'Frances' All paints by Frank Reinaldo - it has just been announced on Cal Classic that Frank passed away in December last year.
He was an artist among painters :(

Mike ... That is so close to the truth, I have a photo here of 'Phoenix' and 'Pegasus' of US Navy's VX6 and one stage there was an aircraft from VX-8, the photo here has two 'Connies' and DC-6 with a early C130.

Speaking of classic FS9, is there a wind back scenery for CHCH or other centers other than Whenuapai?

Only other CHCH scenery is now dated I still look at it .... truthfully I do wonder how the AGN tool would work for the old photo ... looks BLOODY by today's standards.
