I really like 'OPERATION DEEP FREEZE' .. not for the Ice but for the machines .. early days even the Ice Breakers would stop into Lyttleton before heading South ... I knew a few who did a stint down there as cooks and staff, me require warm Temps.

With rescue difficulties like this, my mind immediately springs to the daft ridiculous idea of placing human beings on the planet Mars...or the journey there!

That's got to be a one-way ticket for everyone there...if ever it happens!

Here we go Paul just to plop ya back forty years ago ... even wearing Mars type space clothes tho won't be any good in the Antarctic :huh:
