FLYING

Postby Ian Warren » Tue Jun 21, 2016 11:20 pm

This is amazing footage, fastest I rode was around 230/240 KPH and yes and those lamppost were moving - really not sure whether the bike could go faster, fact was or whether I wanted it to .. It was a thrill .. Would I do it again .. NEGATORY ! , but this another 100 KPH, is an interesting viewpoint, and the different changes in speed.

The fastest I have travelled on my motor bikes was 150 MPH (KPH is a foreign language to me!) on my 1992 Honda CBR 600FM on the M5 Motorway between Gloucester and Exeter in 1993.
Gave it a try to see what it was like.
Trying to steer around a very gradual bend in the motorway and avoid the approaching barriers was difficult!

Sorry, your Honour....Never again!.... :wink2: ....!

Nowadays, speed scares me!

Paul..... ...!

Your travelling about the same speed 240 km/h (149 mph) , those Honda CBR 600 could go like the clappers, I was slightly behind one when he took off .. he was on one wheel ! I was impressed , we were already doing 120 kmh , It took me 180 to start hauling him in, you can see with this choo choo it gives people a good impression of speed at near ground level.
