'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

OK so what's the current state of play with the Regionals?
A propos this topic, I am keen to repopulate NZ with 2016 stuff.

I would wait till Oct when there's a major schedule change.

But overall there's 25(+-2) ATR's (covering all bases here) and 23 Dash's for the Links.

Plus all the other competitors out there

It is lucky for the competitors, after closing many routes and ANZ making whooping great money gains , wonder how long it will before these smaller company again get knee capped soon as they start making money ... hey Lindy .. what are you going to do with your $2.500 they mentioned on the news last night? ;)

Funny , I thought these ( 1900's) were gone some time ago , or am I reading a very old post ( must check  ) however ...
I have a young friend , who made it into ANZ just before these types were got rid of (and must have few hours up on them by now) , I'm hoping to catch up with him soon as he is going to be in CHC for some ATR training (ground . i think)
His Dad is a senior 777 Captain with the same company , so I'm sure motivation won't be a problem.

Lindstrim , he may become your student.

There was talk about another third level operator who wanted to connect and grab a couple 1900s but that was .. well over year two back , I did know one who drove them in the early years , but moved away overseas , had heard from him for years.

Ole PMDG must had a good scrape of cash when they released the 1900 eight years back, crikey even I brought one, they weren't exactly the prettiest aircraft were they.
