Very very deep and in the Ocean and was not as big as they made it out to been .... media on the band wagon again :rolleyes:

Was in TGA that night and while I slept through it the other crew members all got woken up and some even started to get dressed in case there was a need to evacuate the hotel.

It is Ironic it happened around the same time in the morning as the Sep CHCH EQ (around the 4.30 mark), that seemed to really rattle the city .. well the people, this one seemed to be one of those cheap fireworks ya get these days from the Warehouse , lit then just fizzled out.

Friends in Auckland were woken, and that was about it.

I think one of the biggest things was the depth add being in the ocean being offshore null'd it.
