I would definitely recommend a 1ms monitor over anything else. My previous monitor had a response time of 5ms and I noticed blurring and screen tearing while taxiing - particularly during turns. I'm reasonably happy with my new AOC E2770SH, though it's a tad large for my liking. I'd probably go for a 24" if I was to purchase again but I do find that larger screens seem to give a better perspective out the window and really adds to the realism. Do a lot of research and read the reviews. Let us know how you get on

Actually, I should edit that .. "( full time work , no wife no brains )" ... I walked in the shop , It had only been delivered minutes before .. minutes later it was walked out the door , Austin at 'Clader Electronics' mentioned it was for a business client .. back then it was the 'BEES KNEES' now everyone has a whooper or three or four monitors, I'd just go to your local PC shop for the best recommendations and don't be afraid of telling exactly what you want it for , I would not go to a general department store.
