Again it is something to think about , of the two LC-47s in the world one happens to be here in Christchurch, I remember when it was towed thru street by a Harman aircraft tug , course the aircraft above is in the US Navy museum in Pensacola Florida and its that very aircraft.

Marty , That is one I should work on ... the VX-6 'Pegasus' Connie .. not how I recall it .. but it would good to use that as the base to do the paint proper, something I was to do years back , course add 'Phoenix' to the list. B-)

Someone has been Connielated :D I have a photo here with three Connie's at Christchurch the two being VX-6 Pegasus and Phoenix , the other was a VX-8 aircraft , all hell breaking loose on the day C-124's a Neptune LC-47's and the odd man out must have been one of the first 'Operation Deep Freeze' C-130.
