:D Whatever floats it, Paul, but from about late 1944 on, Britain was seen as an aircraft carrier from which the USA could attack Russia. There was so much owing under the Lease-Lend scheme that Westminster had no option but to accept what the US demanded.

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

HMS Illustrious heading off to the scrappers .. that one did not last to long , surprised the another Navy did not grab it , at the scrapping cost , nothing wrong with war machines Paul , its how you use them , wonder how the 'Don' is going to handle some of the real international tasks current .. the Syria thing may have a real end to the tunnel Since the Rusky Prez thinks the world of him.

I suspect, that because of the daily vitriol exchanged between the two contestants, they have both claimed aims that will be impossible/dangerous to meet/carry out, in real life!
It was just a war between them both, with the now predictable results!

....exciting times ahead!

Paul....strengthening my Garden Shed!... ...!

I bet it would not have been anything like we have seen on the news ... that has to be a first , again media blowing it more than it is... as for your garden shed .. Frank Spencer was in there the other week .. lost the door for ya

It looks like America has it's very own version of Kim Jong-un.....complete with bad hair.
Has the blatant nepotism, in Trump granting family members powerful positions, completely escaped the media or are they still shell shocked?
