NZDF and friends in action.

Its a shame it took a major event to pull all this together , but it makes me proud to be a kiwi , seeing the work the boys and girls are doing out there (even now at 2020)
The Navy moving all those people , the NH-90's doing the same , and all those Army trucks making their way through the back roads... a herc doing an airdrop >nzflag<
And all this plus , a Seaking , black(sea) hawks , Seasprite, and more from all over the pacific region ... and Canada .... and possibly more to come.

Very nice to see after 30 odd years a US navy ship back in our waters. We do have some very good friends.

YEAH ! .. I'm pleased the United States Navy is back in and allowed on the doorstep .. rather than rushing to a Celebration .. change course and headed to the area , as with the Canadian's . B-)

A little movie trivia ... anyone seen the movie "Battleship' , I need to get that on my shelf, the USS Sampson is an Arleigh Burke-class, named after a destroyer leader commander of DESRON23 in the slot during WWII , very famous actions .. was a star in the movie.

Mother England is rather conspicuous in her abscence. I don't think they sent anything over for the Navy 75th.

Great to see the Aussie sailors with shovels at Kaikoura on the news tonight.

If they ever bring the new QE class aircraft carrier in .... but yeah , time to cut the cable, and welcome the United States Navy back in, nothing wrong with a few fireworks and nuclear power, simply requires strict rules and control and regular maintenance, as for the Brit's .. yeah they have already cut the cord.
