Postby Splitpin » Mon Nov 21, 2016 6:47 pm

I've just been watching a download I got from just planes .... on the Everetts C-46 and DC-6 .

No sign of ironed white shirts and gold braid ... its all bush shirts , ball caps and beards . :)

Love it .

Indeed Ian ... too cold for my old bones.
Tell you what , this download thing from justplanes is great .... you can buy the DVD's as well , but otherwise you buy it , its in a cloud someplace and you can watch when ever you wish using their "fluxplayer" . I even found a doco they filmed years ago , following a Freedom Air 737 flight ..... great stuff.

Just going to buy a Challange Air 707 vid to add to the list

Canada is far too close to the North Pole for my liking!

Too cold for me, but the Canadians seem to love it. They seem to be hardened to it!

Many of my Flight Sim, and Motorcycle chums live in Canada.

The thing that always disappoints me is that most of them talk and act like; "Americans" and wear; "Baseball caps", etc!..... :( ....!

They seem to be; "Wanna-be-Americans", which is a bit sad!

...but our good Queen Elizabeth loves them to bits, and takes them under her wing!

Paul.... :D ...!

My daughter in law is a Canadian and my wife and I have visited Canada eleven times in the past 28 yrs. We have been fortunate enough to have seen most of Canada including Alaska (also American territory) and I can assure you that Canadians object strongly to being called Americans just as much as Kiwis object to being called Australians. They are lovely, generous, and hospitable people.
