Merry Christmas (Planes pulling to the left)

Merry Christmas (Planes pulling to the left)

Postby Aviator 1 » Thu Dec 15, 2016 3:13 pm

I was wondering if anyone else in P3D is finding the same problem, No matter what aircraft you chose when taxing and flying the aircraft always wants to pull to the left.
This is not due to wrong cfg or engine torque but something not quite setup right as I never had this problem with fsx. The yoke and pedals are also calibrated fine.
Can anyone advice as this is really annoying.

Hi ya Mr Aviator, one thing that has caught me out, and so simple do you have a correct fuel load, sometimes one use's a fuel , the flight is saved but when or if you change the aircraft the fuel has that off set affect.

Hi Ian, How is the art going ? No its not the fuel I make sure the fuel is full and balanced for every flight. When flying for real I realize that the torque of the engine does push the plane to the left but this is not it. I thought trying to add rudder trim or aileron trim opposite would correct the problem but even just adding 1 percent the aircraft starts slowing turning the other way. Just does not seem to matter what airplane you chose the same problem occurs. The only way I have found to eliminate it on the bigger aircraft is using the auto pilot but it defeats the purpose when your using the sim for GA training

Not happening for me. I'm using FSUIPC but not sure if that's significant or not to your issue.

Could this be a hangover from the old FS9 / FSX thing, where the autopilot will always dip to the right before changing course to the left?
Or mebbe you just need a bigger null space in your rudder calibration?

Thank you for all your responses no autopilot has no trouble. I had a fly this morning with the Cessna and slowly keeps pulling to the left. If you leave It the plane will manage to fly 360 with no input. The planes are still flyable but just a pain >nzflag< >nzflag< >nzflag<

Just a little test ... what happens if you full trim to the Right ? Is there any difference ?

Hi Aviator,
I just had a fly in the Beech and your right ,the aircraft is not flying straight and level. I stopped this happening by altering the realism setting from hard to medium.Seemed to fly a straight course after that.It may be something to do with one of the setting .Possibly the torque slider in setting/ realism. You could try adjusting it until your plane flys how you prefer it.Hope that fixs the problem for you Aviator.

Hi Dinga thanks for the comment I will give that a try and let you know if it corrects that problem. I guess your referring the Beech B200 King air ? If you really like flying that aircraft try the Flight one B200.
I have flown the real thing and its very similar. I will give it a try tonight and let you know how I get on  :plane:

Thank you kindly reducing the realism from high to medium fixed the problem. I flew the Beech 1900D from NZWN to NZNV the aircraft tracked nicely the whole way. :plane: :plane: :xmas: :xmas:
