I was just watching a video of the time of aircraft flying in and out of Wellington in 1997 video is on youtube. Just a bit of a steep back in the past anyone willing to share any photos they have taken
in New Zealand of aircraft before the year 2000 ? It can be anything Airliners, balloons, Ga, RNZAF, or vistors.

Go a decade before that date, you would have all hell breaking loose with the famed Bristol Freighter ... course back then Wellington Intl Airport looked like a couple cow sheds and barracks really looked the part ... today it looks great least Jiggling the views are far better than our brand new Cattle shed we have here :wink2:

Really disappointed with Christchurch airport build .. no real spots to shoot .. and even a simple thing to photo the building you are attacked by security telling ya you can't do that .. some people really need a reality check, course so did the designers ... NZCH was famous for its observation deck today .. YIP a bloody cattle shed.

It is now, one thing had they designed the terminal with a layer external carpark on top would have given a choice spot for the camera guys.
