My oldest car was my 1931 Riley 9, 1098cc, open 1-1/2 seater, Grand Prix, Brooklands replica, which I rebuilt in 1970.

Similar to this...

Finally sold to an enthusiast in Germany!

A beautiful Motor Car, which evolved into the ERA racing car!

Since then, a Morris Minor Traveller, Austin Cambridge, Morris 1100, and finally my 1982 Austin Allegro 1.5 HL which I still have...unused since 1990!

Still prefer all my Bikes!

To tell you the troof, Ian... :wink2: ....

Having got used to the "slimness" of all my Motorcycles in traffic, (apart from my previous Motorcycle Combinations), I don't think I would be safe in the "size" of a Motor Car now!

I would bump into things!.... ...!

...apart from all the traffic-jams with Motor Cars!

Hello Chums...!

Latest upload!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9CaRwI-Vglk

Each time I look out from my front door I wonder if the weather is warm enough to go for a nice ride.

It needs to be warm and cosy for me!

On this occasion it wasn't, resulting in a change of mind and just a short trip to the shops instead!

The weather is gradually getting warmer, but its still too early in the year in England.... :( ...!

The return trip will be uploaded next...So watch out for more exciting trips to the shops...and back again...

..the excitement never ceases!.... ... ...!

Hello Chums!

It looked like a nice, 54*F, Sunny day today, for a change, so I thought I would go for a slightly longer trip, until the dark clouds in the far distance made me change my mind!
No fun getting wet in any rain!
Still, the whole journey was very enjoyable!.....>>>>

I trust you liked the video Ian!!.... :D ...!

Its fun doing them, and editing them!

I'm not very good at; "Talking into the Mic" (like the Americans), so its easier for me to; "Text Narrate" them!

It is good to see the UK from a perspective, least your neck of the woods, a lot of the area's are similar to the lower Cashmere/Taitap nudge in close to the port hills here, very English styled .. course go open road and it changes again then if you go further out in transforms into regions that are so different prob more due to lack of population.

Its the tunnel of English Hedgerows which spoils most of my rides, Ian!

Nice for the wildlife, but bad for viewing the countryside all around!

Typical for the English to fence everything in!... ...!

I envy North America with their wide-open, big sky, countryside!

The roads and countryside merge into one another!

A short Colorado run on a '50 Harley Panhead!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEmnnIxjF-E&t=3s

That's what I envy...No Hedges!!

Paul..... :D ...!

Harley enthusiasts will recognise the Fuel Tank Gear Change, and the rocking Foot Clutch!.... :D ....!

When the weather gets warmer, Ian, I will travel, and video, some of the Welsh mountain countryside some 20+ miles across the border from me.
....Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons!
Just have to take care of the Sheep (and Sheep Farmers) on the roads then!

Hereford to Aberystwyth (80 miles each way) via the "Dam Busters" Valley (Elan Valley), is a very nice ride!
Done it lots of times, many years ago, by Bike and Car!

Just need the weather now!

A pre-taste.....

..through the fog, mist, and gloom of the Welsh mountain countryside....>>>>

Wales is a very good place to experience fog, mist, rain, pink houses, and overall doom and gloom....

..been there....done it...got the wet Tee-Shirt.... ...!

The Sheep are quite nice tho'...and always obliging!........ ...!

Hello Chums!

Saturday the 25th of March 2017.

A fantastic, bright sunny, early Spring afternoon, to take a ride on my Motorcycle down the highways and byways of Rural Herefordshire.

Still a little bit chilly for my old bones, 57*F, but I wrapped up in warm clothes and enjoyed the sunshine!

Enjoy the trip with me!...>>>>
