A shame i wont be able to use the weapons .. or even load them.
Because VRS only let their P3D stuff work on the academic license, and I don't have FSX anymore :(

Academic license is what I got for P3D, only brought the VRS TACPAC for the academic license, the SimWorks Studios Phantom also has a non TACPAC weapon installer, great thing with TP is generating any Carrier , the USS Coral Sea to the Aerosofts USS Kitty Hawk , weapon launch I still require the learning to fully do that, currently it is carrier practice and other things to play around with.

What did happen to your FSX ?

Took it out to do a reinstall .... and now it wont load.

Disc just spins up , then i get an error msg . Might be a win10 thing not sure , but Im not to concerned ... plenty to play with in the mean time.

Biggest downfall to that is the thousand of dollars of software you cannot use, here is a trick to start, put the disk into the PC and before anything happens, shut the PC down, restart the explore the DVD, find the install/setup exe. file click on that and away it will go.

I spent last night trying to get weapon release from TACPAC , great program, I'm simply missing something when target specific on release , maybe a yoke switch thing.

CARRIER OPERATIONS Now we have foru good carriers, the above Simworks Studio's USS Coral Sea , Aerosofts USS Kittyhawk, TeamSDB's USS Enterprise, the Freeware Javiers USS Nimitz and a fifth incoming the USS Midway, which will be driveable , you won't be be able to fly that so if the BETA tester put idea's forward should make it fun in itself but then in come people like me who will have the carrier meaning you can be the CAP CAG and AIR BOSS! B-)

You notice the gear up as they climbed out so it was quick thinking 'gear up' maybe the lever was already on the move even before leaving the flight deck ... I'd say a wet fuselage and with the speed turned it into an air effect vehicle , using the air under the wing and closeness to the ocean and right attitude AOA

MikeW
'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
