My favourite in P3Dv4 ... so far!!

Postby Adamski » Sat Jul 01, 2017 1:57 pm

There are still a fair few aircraft to make the transition to v4 (PMDG 737 and A2A Connie, for example) but I always seem to come back to this A2A classic:

I'm still undecided what I'd love to own in RL (see July Screenshot Comp) but in P3D this Harvard is really hard to beat.

Thank you, Sir!!

Meanwhile ... I discovered Ant's incredible FREEWARE Tiger Moth works beautifully in P3Dv4:

Maybe this is the aircraft I'd *really* want to own in RL!

I agree, I've been spending quite a bit of time in the T-6 in P3Dv4 over this last week and have quite a ball - as well as a few scary experiences when I was too complacent with my landing

Do a search on YouTube for old navy/miltary training videos (using the Harvard). There are some good ones on how to avoid ground loops plus some basic aerobatics help.

Thanks, will do that. My closest approach to a ground loop yesterday occurred mainly because I forgot I was landing with a reasonable side wind component. Always learning . . .
