Throttle Issue

I discovered while having a flight sim today that my throttle is all out.

In idle mode my aircraft all go to full power. If I move the Quadrant lever a fraction further up it idles. IF I go to 25 % it goes to full power, If I go to 50 it says at 50% and then above 75 goes to full power.
Any ideas ?

When did you last calibrate it in the sim?

Just in case it is not a hardware issue, disable controls in the options, and check with F1 F2 F3 F4 function keys. Otherwise a potentiometer?? perhaps.

Went back in for a flight sim and seems the fault corrects its self then changes back. The throttle is all out again today.

Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right-Click Game Controller settings > Select Properties.

The display will indicate all your Control settings...>>>

..its the usual dirty/worn Potentiometer giving the problem!

Like the scratchy sound, you get from your radio as you alter the volume!

Very common after lots of use!

I have a spare room full of faulty Joysticks over many years!

Time for a nice new Flightstick....like my snazzy Saitek Cyborg X Fly5 Joystick, in the illustration!.... ....!

Yes problem is in New Zealand its really hard to source one
