Narnia again

Postby toprob » Sat Nov 11, 2017 9:16 pm

Watched the Narnia movie on TV2 tonight, when I was a kid I was a huge fan of the books... the battle scene was filmed at Castle Hill, Canterbury, as it certainly is a magical landscape. I've posted shots of this before, but now I've recoloured the aerial images a bit, as I wasn't happy with the previous image. This will be the eastern extent of the Alps/Lakes scenery, and/or the western edge of the Real NZ Christchurch scenery.

Cheers, guys.
This is also a good place to try out my* new elevation mesh for NZ in Aerofly FS2. Like a lot of Aerofly users, I was blown away by the fully 'cultivated' Colorado release, so the next step is to plant plenty of trees here...

*Oops, better elaborate, I don't mean I made the mesh, it was created by IPACS for an upcoming secret release...

Oooh that Upcoming Secret Release Thing...
Colorado was a great surprise, and a great delight.
Did I mention that NZ is an excellent choice for ASF2?
I believe I may have :)
Or was it the other way round?
