I woke up to this nightmare this morning....

I was hoping that we could get through the whole of Winter again, without any Snow and Ice!

The landing strip at the bottom of my garden is closed for a while!

I can well do without this stuff. I can't believe that some folks seem to like it!.... ....!

My Motorcycle (Daisy) and I are stranded indoors on my Housing Estate until it all melts again!

...no shopping!

Only the major roads are cleared of snow!

I'm going to get back into bed until the Spring comes around again..... ....!

Well, somehow that kind of weather seems a whole lot better suited than ours, for that big ole round feller in the furlined red suit going Hohoho...

Yeah, I can certainly sympathise -- I live in an 'old man's unit', which is like an 'old lady's unit', only not so frilly. My neighbours ran their air conditioner all night! I was tempted to get up and shut my window, but then I'd have to turn my air conditioner on as well... It's a vicious circle!!

I do have to do some shopping today, but it's about a 40 minute walk each way into town, and I have to put on so much sun screen that my sunglasses keep slipping off my nose!

...now if I was to alternate between England and New Zealand, I could ride my Motorcycle all the year round in comfort, warmth, and brilliant Sunshine....

...instead of suffering in cold and discomfort for six nine months of the year!!

The older I get the more I hate every Winter in England..... ....!

Half of my life is wasted waiting for the other half to arrive!

I need to be warm and cosy all the time!

Pssssttt.....After the 21st of December your Winter will be in its way again!... ....!
