Sahara.. somewhere in Mauretania...

Not only the Tourists and some Managers are flying... In Africa Mining- and Oil-Exploration-Company´s have a fleet of aircraft for Personal-transport and logistics... and they have airfields for their own interests, far away from States.
With a Piper Super Cub i was aúnderway in Mauretania. It´s country on the west-coast south of Morocco.

It was a one of these adventures, to do anything, not possible in real flying.






A Douglas DC-3 and a Antonov An 26 are the workhouses.

A great journey with many interesting sights along the way. The scenery is really good, unfortunately I'm getting that old temptation feeling again . . . .

It is not to late...
Often enough the reality is not tat big adventure. But we "virtual pilots are lucky". We have a chance to do things "in another world."
