Sure am, Christchurch has progressed somewhat since the quake ... we returned a year ago after living on a West Coast lifestyle block for 4 1/2 years ... but it won't be a finished city for at least another decade (maybe more). It's time to move on.

Thanks Robin. Like Diamond Harbour it's a surprisingly busy little township. On Sunday morning (10am) we counted at least 10-15 international tourists schlepping about (not that there's a lot to see & do in Springfield).

lifestyle blocking is a full-time job. Looks like West Coast Road? I'll be driving past your doorstep next March, en route to a cycle trip out of Greymouth!
Ain' t that the truth. We rented a larger LSB at Moonlight (25 acres) and now know it depends on what you run. Downscaling (both livestock and acreage) means we should get a little bit more time to breathe. West Coast Road ... you nailed it. On the bend just outside town. Feel free to drop on in ... the coffee's always hot and the cider's icy cold.

For a Super Cub ... maybe.

Local hazards include: livestock, powerlines and windbreaks.
