Old school flying

Lately i have been flying fs9 an awful lot.. Its been a lot of fun cruising the skies of the 1960s & 70s in various heavy metal.
here are some screens, mainly from the HJG stable, even in fs9, the current models and paints are still pretty good. And they have announced some new airplanes too, they are building the classic 737 range, from -100 to -600, and the Dassualt Mercure, which will are in FSX & FS9, though currently the 737 is currently only in -300 to -600

I missed this post somehow , but did reply to your last.
These HJG guys are just great I have 90% of their stuff on file ...the Boeing 135 series was just amazing.... and continues to be updated

I will continue to support them . A lot to be said for freeware , real icons of the hobby

very very true, the 727-200 series have been updated recently and the models have some great added features like the freighters have moving cargo pallets as, and all the stairs work on the passenger versions.
I have all the DC-9, DC-8 series, the Convairs most of the 707 series as well, especially in my fs9 setup no paints before 1974 so it also means no 717 and no MD series or 146s

The thing i found hard was , downloading all the variants , but forgetting the base model , and trying to figure out what the hell I had done.
DC-10's are pretty good as well

That's the tough part, getting all the right base models, panels and sounds to fit each livery, and some of the newer models if the panel isnt right the airplane does not fly right.
Though the forums there are pretty damn good at providing all the information to sort out what model/panel/sound combo goes, then with the likes of the DC-9 the paints for each series will go on any of the models basically
