My god .. my partner is back at school doing post grad study for sports medicine , and Im "helping" her study ...gawd.
She left me some material to review and quiz her on later.
Just basic physiology ....basic.

1:Describe rough endoplasmic reticuium and its relation to the golgi apparatus.

2:With relation to DNA, eDNA and tDNA , describe the process that releases a peptide chain.

3:Describe the coronal , sagittal and transverse planes . And so on ....and on. I cant pronounce half of the words

Anyway , Im sure #1 is something to with uncommanded flap retraction at or near Vr

#2 could be ingredients for Pepsi

#3 Early but failed attempts by Toyota to build aircraft .

Honestly , I read and watched 2 hours of video ...and I was lost after the tutor said "welcome "

But , Im really learning a lot , the human body is just amazing. The detail in something as simple as clenching your fist is ... amazing.
DNA is just out there dudes ... "like ... totally awesome" but so complex.

I think I will stick to the Aviation Theory Thank you ! Its much easier when you can answer the questions like, Explain the ELT or describe the word attenuate.

I do Charl , a little too varied sometimes.

Today I'm reviewing Desmosomes ...tiny little things that connect 2 cells, allowing movement under stress. Found in the skin and intestine.
Then it gets exciting ... we will define (with diagrams) molecular diffusion and its relationship if any, to Osmosis , and define active transport and the role of mitochondria

What could all this possibly have to do with becoming a sports physio? Bones and muscle I can understand ...but cell structure and DNA ?
Amyway ...I'm back to hydraulics and electronics next week ...can't wait
