GREAT set!
My internet was a little slow in loading the pics, and then BOOM! that first popped one into view, right in your face. Great stuff.

Thanks Charl , a few years old now. I've been going through the archives , it's interesting to see how the styles change , as the platforms and editing software develops.

Fast(ish) Internet here, but the same effect. When I saw the first pic appear, I thought "wow - beat that!" ... then I saw the second one - and the rest!!! I can never put my finger on exactly how/why so many of your pics look so good. Obviously they're beautifully set up and composed etc. ... but there's always something about the lighting and level of detail that makes them stand out. No idea how you do it, but don't ever stop!!

Ever since Digital Integration's superb "Tornado" all those years ago, the sight (or even mention) of a Tornado seems to raise my pulse. It's not a particularly pretty aircraft as such, but it always looks simply *awesome*. Again - I can't work out exactly why. Maybe it's just an F-4 Phantom that's had a European design "makeover".

Cheers Adders glad it got your heart started  I agree with you , some aircraft are beautiful , some just look mean.
Not everybody agrees with the military side of things, but its a fact of life , I just enjoy the aesthetics , and tend to ignore the purpose (re military)

That's a hard one, isn't it? Some of the deadliest are the most beautiful (Avro Vulcan etc.).

I took a friend to the Farnborough air show once. She knew nothing about aeroplanes (or aviation in general), but had been in Germany not long after the war. She saw the BBMF Lancaster and said "That's a nice plane" and, realising that it was a warplane, asked "what did it do in the war?". "Bombed Dresden", I was forced to say.

Superb screenshots.
Always liked the Tornado. Looks like it means business.
Shame it's due to be retired from RAF service by March next year.
