Hopping from Taupo to Roto-vegas

Postby tomkilpatrick » Tue Jul 31, 2018 3:11 pm

Hey guys, I hope you're all doing well.

Starting to dip my feet back into flight sim again - starting off small with the Nemeth Designs A109E heading north from Taupo over to Rotorua.

A few subtle exterior differences between the E model and the air force's 'LUH' model - mainly just missing their particular hoist, the rear V/UHF antenna and the HF aerial down the back.

Great to see you back Major
Tom .... its those " subtle exterior differences " and info regarding them that adds value to this sad old forum.

Tom - Great pic and insider info. Probably saw you at Wanaka, but only because we were both there at the same time. You were at work, as I recall; I was at leisure

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'
