Nice model, great pics...
I rate the Pacific Wave livery one of the most striking and original of airliner schemes.
History now, and hard to believe that is now also a vintage aeroplane.

I totally agree. I think they should reprise it.

I was appalled by the later "black" variants. They say nothing about New Zealand. Just because the national rugby team uses black, I don't see why the airline has to follow. Blue and green are the two colours I associate the most with the landscape of New Zealand. The Koru is such a magnificent symbol - full of meaning and lends itself well as a design motif.

Logo design was part of what I did for a living for many years. I think I've had enough experience to spot a good one when I see one - and that Pacific Wave TEAL-derived livery wins by a *long* way!

Back in the UK a fair few years ago, ICI commissioned a design company to re-do their logo. They spent a year on it and charged over 1M UKP. Their conclusion: "Leave it alone". ICI justified the expense, saying it was worth the money just to know that it couldn't (shouldn't) be bettered.

So ... ANZ ... "if it ain't broke ..."

Beautiful shots!
I wouldn't bring up the livery, as it shows my age, but now that someone else mentioned it, I can only agree! The new black aircraft are striking, but it should have been reserved for one-off specials....
