(follow on from the title) But the fact that I managed to update my P3Dv4 to the latest version without having to bother any of you ... it took me 2 days, but I did it.
I'm completely useless at this kind of stuff .... completely. I did the "client" thing .... no good ...tried the "content" thing ...even worse.
Endgame was a complete new install onto a clean hard drive...got it
Even got the new Hercs ...which ain't new .. old Captain sim stuff with some annoying graphics problems, but more about that later.

To be honest, I can't see any difference (Hercs aside) ...other than 12.4Gb of bandwidth.... but, thats just from my point of view.

Sorry to hear the "client" thing didn't work ... but a fresh install is always a good option!!!

I must admit I'd be hard pushed to list all the "improvements" - in fact, some things have got worse, IMHO. Be warned, that if you're running on a modest system, the traditional "Unlimited" target frame rate is going to give you blurries grief with P3Dv4.3. I think the fixes for the C-130 are dotted around NZFF (Alex's Herc thread maybe?). I you can't find them, shout - and I'll dig them out. It's quite an easy fix.
