Of course Vegas would be in the S california pack... never thought of going there.
AFS2 does do night lighting well - usually flightsim night shots are a dark blob, viewed on my system!

Charl, thanks to a new and cheaper broadband plan, I was able to d/l the SW USA scenery upgrade, all 60GB of it. Honestly don't know what it provides over the basic install, but it sure looks purty :) . Pretty sure Las Vegas is in Nevada, but close to the California border.
I have found that night shots on a flat screen are very dependent on the viewing angle. Sitting up or down a bit can reveal all. In pic10 you should be able to see the cockpit gauges, lit up in red. I switched off the lens flare effect - it was spoiling the sunrise.
