Sausage police in action......

Postby cowpatz » Wed Nov 14, 2018 11:20 am

Heaven help us. We can't ride motorised scooters and now we need to be told how to construct/eat a Bunning's sausage.
Stop the merry go round .....I'm going to be sick.

The new Bunning's sausage sizzle

Probably ban the tomato sauce/ mustard as someone might slip on it if it's spilt or that it contains too much sugar. Perhaps a meatless sausage so as not to offend Vegans???

We were going to have a family BBQ on the 8th December but due to the danger of someone getting hurt we may have to cancel it and cook something on the stove OH! dear!!!! no we cant do that either someone may get burnt, looks like we will all have to eat cold raw meat and vegies OH!! no hang on we cant do that either because someone might get hurt gathering the vegies or even planting them and the butcher might cut himself while preparing the meat.
WHAT THE HELL are these health and safety people thinking of do they want us all to starve to death.
If those health and safety people saw the ways I have cooked and eaten the places I have been and things I have done in the last 86 years they would probably be amazed that I am still living.
Talk about PC gone mad lets shift the health and safety with all their PC back 50 years and let us all live our own lives without all this bullshit.

I must have missed the bit where it isn't possible for people like Doug to have a barby, due to safety concerns... this was one stupid action posted on social media to get a reaction -- I'll repeat what I'm said just recently, social media is not news! It is designed to get a knee-jerk reaction. And all I can see here is jerky knees...

A Bunnings New Zealand spokesperson confirmed that the controversial change will also be applied in this country.
I so love living in a country where the next controversial change doesn't involve jailing the previous government...

Yes I guess the NZ Herald could well be classified as social media as "reporting" on that, and regurgitating press releases is all they seem capable of. Have you noticed how many articles don't even have the authours name appended?
Just cheap and nasty cut and paste.

Doug.....takeways is the answer! (but not KFC as caged chickens) or Indian (migrant exploitation) or McD's (zero contract hours). Oatmeal it is then  .

Well, as a veteran of many a sausage sizzle, on both sides of the barbie, I can assure you that putting the onions in first greatly increases the likelihood of the sausage doing a runner and winding up on the deck. :ph43r:

I love reading all this "Elf 'n Safely" stuff!

It's always good for a laugh and makes the World go round!

Its just shows how much dafter other folks are, compared to myself!

I got out (retired) of my lifetime Electrical Engineering Trade (1984) before all the European Rules, Health and Safety Rules, and all the other daft Rules and Regulations came into operation in an attempt to make our daily lives a misery, and difficult!

I just see them now...and laugh!

I've got to the age now when I no longer take all this; "Stuff" seriously, and I worry about all the poor Folks who do...and there are lots of them about!!

Not to worry...it will all be better by tomorrow....

...trust me... ... ...!

"Health and Safety" is just an organisation designed to pay bullies and busy-bodies to prosecute, fine, and imprison other folks, and make their general lives a misery...
..a bit like Traffic Cops and Traffic Wardens and Wheel Clampers, etc...!.... :wink2: ... :wink2: ....!

Paul.... ...!

Well it must be very important business, this Bunnings thing!
It made the leaders' news conference in Singapore today!

https://i.stuff.co.nz/world/australia/1 ... ing-matter

There has been a casualty I believe, although unconfirmed:
The Bunnings Marketing Manager is said to have laughed his head off, at the international exposure his company got, without spending a dime!
Priceless!
